About the event

This seminar is hosted by the Fertility Justice Project at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law and provides an overview of the legal and regulatory framework governing in vitro fertilization in Canada. Participants will explore how IVF is regulated at the federal and provincial levels, the roles of clinics and regulators, and key legal issues related to consent, embryo creation and storage, parentage, and patient rights. The session also highlights emerging ethical and equity considerations shaping access to IVF care.
