About the event
This seminar is hosted by the Fertility Justice Project at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law and examines the legal and regulatory landscape surrounding egg freezing in Canada. Participants will learn how egg freezing is regulated, what legal rights and obligations arise for patients and clinics, and how consent, storage, use, and disposition are addressed in law. The session also considers broader questions of reproductive autonomy, access, and the growing commercialization of fertility preservation.
